On the brink of releasing their fourth album, SeepeopleS is enjoying the buzz of a truly emerging artist; with a steadily increasing live draw, consistent glowing accolades from the press and songs featured in three upcoming independent films, the band is positioned to “pop,” while avoiding flash in the pan pitfalls with an intriguing back catalogue of over 100 songs. SeepeopleS is represented by one of the largest law firms in the Southeast, and the band’s film and TV licensing is done by Northstar Media in Los Angeles, whose clients include American Idol, Honda, The Gap and more. Steady national radio play, national touring, and the band’s knack for marketing and publicity have landed SeepeopleS at the top of the “one to watch” pile in 2008.
Hi. My name is Mike Perkins. For me, music is a way to connect with other people. Its soothing pulse steadily chips away at my "protective" layers and allows my true self to be free. It allows me to gaze into the eyes of friends, as well as strangers, and know that deep down we're all the same. It's a giant invisible wave carrying us all to shore. It's in every smile, every campfire, and every tree. Music reminds me that I'm alive, and that goodness never really dies. Music is love . . . love is music, and they both are here to help us along in our journey.
The beginning of Langus was your typical story of a few high school kids who decided to start a band. Formed in 1999, who would have thought that years later, Langus would be the next up and coming band receiving major/college radio airplay and sharing the stage with national artists such as Breaking Benjamin, Jet, Hinder, and Shinedown? "The hard edged melodic sound of Langus is undeniable".
Even before the successful release of their full length debut album "Running In Place" 2008, Langus has been thriving off of their massive fan base that has brought them this far. Popular tracks including "Falling Again", and "Running In Place" have truly defined this four piece band's unique, original sound.
Prior achievements that helped lead to the success of the band, included the release of the five song E.P. "Pass The Time" 2004. Thanks to the support from major/college radio stations and a loyal fan base, the titled track "Pass The Time", was included on several compilation discs, including the " WEBN Budweiser True Music Compilation ".
Surprisingly, without the backing of any Major or Independent record labels, Langus has managed to sell out shows, and had the privilege of headlining and opening for national acts at major venues throughout the Mid West and East Coast. Amongst touring, Langus is in the midst of recording the anticipating follow up album to " Running In Place".
Needless to say, the best is yet to come.
Langus is: Chris Rook; Vocals/Guitar Benjamin Petry; Bass/Keyboards/Vocals Jon Parnell; guitar Todd Chumbley; Drums

STUNNA returns to Cincinnati for an evening of Drum+Bass
Hailing from the Windy City, STUNNA (aka JAY CAPPO) has been deeply immersed in the Chicago music scene for many years. Schooled in piano study from an early age, his love of jazz music turned him on to the sounds of HERBIE HANCOCK, especially his early-70's work with synthesizers and electronics. At the age of 12, Jay acquired a drum machine and an 8-bit sampling keyboard and began to experiment with the jazzier sounds he'd listened to and also with the current sounds of Chicago House that was at the time, in its formative years. A number of years were spent performing in bands on the keyboards and alongside DJs at parties. His discovery of Rap music and the walls of layered samples by groups such as PUBLIC ENEMY fascinated him and he made it his personal mission to dig and find the sources of these diverse sounds he was hearing. Jay realized that many of the current sounds within these layers were actually pieces from the jazz and funk he'd heard only a few years before. He was now hooked on the science of connecting his own sounds with various parts of music's funky past. He joined local Chicago funk bands and began working with House producers such as ROY DAVIS JR. in the mid-to-late 90's, playing keys and collaborating on original tracks and remixes. Around this time he began hearing more and more of the sped-up breakbeats of many of his favorite jazz-funk drummers that were now being used by Jungle and Drum+Bass producers. After accumulating many vintage synths and new studio gear, Jay delved into creating his own brand of D+B and locked himself in the studio. When he emerged, he'd written over 50 tracks and began DJing out to fine-tune his songs.
Since 2002 Adam Jay has taken the global techno scene by the throat with continuous output on the most respected labels worldwide. He is, without a doubt, the most prolific and accomplished figure in electronic music to come out of Indianapolis. He has toured the world as a DJ and live performer on 5 continents and 17 countries.
His releases are among the favorites of Dave Clarke, Sven Vath, Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and other techno heavyweights. Best known for his releases on revered labels such as Monoid, Pornographic, Primate, Primevil, as well as Ben Sims' own Theory Recordings, Adam's sound can be best defined as soul infused techno with constant movement and motion. With more than 50 twelve-inch vinyl releases to his name, Adam's musical palette as a producer extends well into his selections as a DJ, earning him a bimonthly residency in 2008 at the renowned Tokyo club Studio Cube 326.
Countries Toured as DJ and Live Performer: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Japan, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Mexico, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Slovenia, U.S.A, and the Czech Republic.
“Red Wanting Blue is probably the best underground independent rock band in the United States of America. The songs are all sing-a-long solid and have some of the best lyrics this side of the Mississippi... Red Wanting Blue puts on an eclectic and very entertaining live show.” Hard Rock Haven
“Red Wanting Blue's live disc might be the best new album of the year. It is one of those surprises that restores your faith in new music. The smartly adept and deeply thoughtful songs are given an amazing array of textures courtesy of one of the most impressive - and emotional - vocalists to come along in a long time.” Score Music Magazine
“Falling somewhere between The Unforgettable Fire-era U2 and the current recipe that drives Our Lady Peace, Red Wanting Blue is razor-sharp and deft. They embody a commitment to career that many bands only hallucinate about. Two thumbs up, lads!” Bullzeye Magazine
“Red Wanting Blue's passion and energy delineates a powerful live feel. Scott Terry's powered, full, meaty voice often seems to echo in the background of RWB's delicate melodies. When you can hear a band's live potential on an album, they've definitely achieved an important goal, and RWB does this with ease.” Citizen.TV
